Niamba Baskerville is the Senior Director of Advertising at New Blue Interactive. She has extensive experience designing and implementing paid media strategies for progressive political campaigns and organizations. During the 2024 cycle, she managed the paid media programs for the Black constituency on the Harris for President campaign. Niamba’s prior Advertising Director experience includes managing a team of ad buyers and devising media placement strategies for state & local candidates, as well as progressive C3s, C4s, and PACs.
Though she began her advertising career on the corporate side, she’s passionate about helping Democratic campaigns and organizations build the right strategies to connect with their target audiences. Her training as a sociologist at Northwestern University – generating insights on media and cultural trends – helps shape her understanding of and work in digital advertising & strategy. She uses her expertise to ensure that messaging reaches and resonates with communities to effectively mobilize voters.
